Márta Baranyai

I was born in Budapest, I was brought up in Érd, where I started creative activities winning prizes in different competitions.

I learned fine arts and crafts at the faculty of book restauration

Later I got acquainted with the art of designing and creating cramics.

After graduating from school I tried a lot of things: I designed toys, graphics for packagings and posters for films, and I worked as a ceramic. For a short period I worked for a cartoon film studio. For several years I had created pocket watch sized miniature pantings for export.

For my customers' request I gladly paint portraits - I am specialized in child portraits.

I also paint pictures of animals - under the title "Love Equus" I try to illustrate the inner beauty and harmony of horses.

I paint nice reproductions of famous works of outstanding artists as a tribute to its creators and also as a way to improve my professional skills. I have made reproductions of works of e.g. Csontváry, Vaszary, Rembrandt, Renoir, Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, Dalí, Ingres, Géricault.

Besides of these I have worked out a special technique by which I paint my peculiar oil paintings on a cork bearer surface. These painting had been awarded a "Genius" prize on the GENIUS EUROPE inventions exhibition in Budapest in 2004.

My works are continuously appearing on exhibitions. My paintings reached several countries all over the world (French, Italy, Turkey, Jordan, China, Canada)
