In all my life I felt deep respect and love about trees. For me they are the symbols of time, knowledge and beauty. ("Tree of Knowledge" in the Bible, "Life Tree" motifs.) It was evident I created pictures on this subjejt as well.
If you think about a few millenia old Giant Sequoia who was a sapling during the building of the Egyptian pyramids and is still green and generating oxygen - our vital element - than you get understand why I think so. The beauty of the canopy of green trees or the fine tissue of the bald branches had always grasped me.
With my pictures I pay tribute to the creatures of Earth tolerating so much (from mankind)!
